Landscape DESIGN & INSTALL
We provide custom designs based on your desired approach, from lush tropical, traditional southern, and country gardens to native, Florida-friendly, and xeric landscapes. It begins with your foundational plantings, including large and specimen trees, palms, evergreen, and flowering shrubs. Then, we can add color and texture to the design with a perennial pollinator garden or structured annual flowering beds.

We have been installing drainage systems for over 30 years. This experience allows us to rapidly identify the causes and provide the best solutions to common drainage problems.

the PROCESS
1. On-site consultation
Our designer will meet with you at your home for approximately one hour to discuss your vision and the scope of the project. They will usually take measurements and pictures. Within an established timeframe, the designer will provide you with recommendations and a written proposal. They will help prioritize your project, giving you a plan of action so you can accomplish your goals in manageable phases or all at once. When necessary, landscape architectural drawings will be rendered at an additional cost.*
*Cost: $150, with a full rebate on $5,000 or above material or services purchase within a year of the consultation.
2. Landscape plans
After your initial on-site consult, an Earth Works Landscape Designer can provide you with a full set of architectural review board-worthy plans*, working within your builder’s allowances or beyond. They will help you set long-range goals, incorporating future patios, gazebos, or pools. The designer can also help you budget or phase your landscape project.
*Cost: Prices vary depending on the size and scope of the project. Starting price of landscape plans is $450.
3. In-store review
Once your proposal and plans are ready to present you will receive a call to set up an in-store review. You will meet with your designer at our garden center on Beach Blvd. where they will take you through the design and show you the different materials involved in your project. If inventory allows you may be able to pick out your individual trees. At this time, if you see something else you like or have an item that you would like to remove, the designer will note these changes. You will receive your revised estimate soon after.
4. Design & install
Signing your contract and putting down a 40% deposit will secure your place on the landscape job board. Then we will order materials. You will have a start date based on our best estimate of when all materials will become available. We promise to maintain communication during this process and keep you up to date with any delays or changes. Then the fun begins!
