Checklist of Materials for your Pond Clean-Out<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Kiddie pool (or similar, large container to hold sufficient water to accommodate fish, water lilies, etc. )<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Net to cover fish containers to prevent them from jumping out.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n –Fishnet<\/a> to catch the fish before the clean-out.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n –Lily tabs<\/a>– might as well fertilize those lilies while you’re in there.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Two-five-gallon buckets for collecting leaves and debris.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Wading boots or old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Rubber gloves.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -Twenty-five feet of 1.5 to 2-inch discharge piping.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n -A high-pressure nozzle for your garden hose or a power washer.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n –Beneficial Bacteria<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n –Dechlorinator<\/a> if you are filling your pond with city water.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
